DEMOLISHING OF ILLEGAL MARKET STALLS WILL NOT STOP

THE Honiara City Council (HCC) Law Enforcement Division is continuously doing its operations on demolishing illegal market stalls and will ceaselessly be removing nuisance activities within the city.

As now we can see Honiara City Council (HCC) Law Enforcement officers and Police will ensure there are no illegal market stalls and even illegal car washing within the HCC jurisdiction, says the Deputy Mayor and Chairman for Law Enforcement Division Councillor (Cr) Robert Oge.

“Law Enforcement officers are on the ground continuously doing their operational approach, tracking down all illegal market stalls as well as giving awareness to the people to ensure they understand what the officers are doing,” the Law Enforcement Chairman explained.

He said HCC Law Enforcement officers will not be tolerant or have mercy on anyone once caught red-handed.

“I strongly urge all the Honiara residents and the visiting public to listen and obey HCC Ordinances so that we make Honiara City a peaceful, safe, clean, and beautiful place for all of us,” the Chairman for Law Enforcement expressed.
