Councilors-Elect, City Clerk, Heads of Divisions, and all staff of the Honiara City Council (HCC) congratulate the new Prime Minister of Solomon Islands, Hon. Jeremiah Manele on his resounding election victory to lead the Government of National Unity and Transformation (GNUT).
The Council was pleased that Members of the GNUT coalition have confidence in Hon. Manele to head the government especially as we strive to maintain a united and harmonious country, enhance peaceful co-existence, transform our governance and economic systems, build resilience, and grow sustainable livelihood of all citizens.
The Honiara City Council (HCC) further assures the Prime Minister and GNUT coalition of its support and willingness to collaborate for a safe, clean, and livable Honiara City.
