STOP CARELESS LITTERING BEHAVIOR IN THE CITY SAYS GHALE

One of the hard-working rubbish collectors who works under the Honiara City Council (HCC) Waste Management Division Mrs. Anna Ghale, has raised her concerns about stopping careless behavior of littering in the city.
Mrs. Ghale explained that she collects rubbish daily, and enjoys her duty, but people should understand that littering is an offense according to the HCC Litter Ordinance.
“Stop throwing rubbish such as solid human waste, and rubber bottles full of urine along the bus stop areas,” she said.
She uttered that Honiara residents, and the visiting public need to adhere to the Honiara City Council (HCC) Litter Ordinance.
“We should work together to make our city look beautiful. I love to see Honiara City clean, green, and safe,” rubbish collector Ghale expressed.
