HCC HEALTH DIVISION RECEIVES GENEROUS DONATION OF ULTRASOUND SCAN MACHINES FROM JAPAN

The Honiara City Council (HCC) Health Division has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Japanese Government and its people for their recent donation of three ultrasound scan machines.

This generous contribution is expected to significantly enhance the medical service provided by the division.

Doctor Lawrence Diau, the Provincial Health Director, acknowledged the importance of these machines in a statement highlighting the crucial role they will play in improving diagnostic capabilities and overall healthcare delivery in the city.

The donation marks a significant step forward in the division’s ongoing efforts to provide better medical care to the community.

The new ultrasound machines are anticipated to be instrumental in the early detection and treatment of various health conditions, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes for the population.

Deploying the machines at the three main clinics, Rove Clinic, Mataniko Clinic, and Kukum Clinic will eventually solve the long-standing health challenges faced by the HCC Health Division says the HCC Provincial Health Director.

Doctor Diau extended his sincere thanks on behalf of the Health Division, recognizing the strong bond of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
