Honiara City Mayor when welcoming them the Port Villa Municipal Authority said HCC is overwhelmed in receiving them and states from the visit, both the PVMA and HCC can learn from each other in better providing services in both Cities as part of the sister city relationship.
The Mayor of Port Villa Municipal Authority Ulrich Sumptoh and his delegation made a one week exchange trip to Honiara City Council recently. The visit is part of the sister city relationship between Port Villa and Honiara. Upon their arrival, the Port Villa Mayor states that the visit is to strengthen the ties and relationship between Port Villa and Honiara. Accompanying Mayor Ulrich were the Mayor’s wife, Deputy Mayor, Clerk, three Councillors and the PVMA netball team.
